Pattern Patchwork

Our pattern patchwork back from our pre Christmas group work.  All the patterns here were drawn by me and my two course friends Michael Beswick and Hosanna Lee.  We used our memory as a filter to record what we felt were the most dominant visual patterns around Trafford Park. If I had the time I'd love to turn this into a real fabric patchwork.

From North to South

Yesterday I took the train home from Manchester to Ely.  It's amazing watching the seasons and landscape change outside the window from the snowy Pennines to the pancake flat fens.

The snow went from patchy to deep up in the hills.

Beautiful rays of sun just before Ely station.
